About The Position

Fitch Group is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Business Applications team, based in New York. This role involves designing and developing scalable, high-quality full-stack applications, while working closely with business applications leadership, architects, and engineering teams to deliver modern, cloud-native solutions.

Requirements

Minimum 4+ years of hands-on full stack development experience.
Hands-on experience with React.js or Node.js, Python, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
Exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and modern deployment practices.
Experience with AWS data services such as Lambda, S3, and OpenSearch.
Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication skills, a strong team player, and a self-starter.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native architecture.
Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Troubleshoot, diagnosis, and resolve complex application and system issues.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and agile development processes.
Ensure high code quality through unit testing and automation frameworks.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full stack development.
