As a Senior Software Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Web-Software Engineering Team reporting to the Senior Manager, you will support projects including Hilton.com and different customer-facing applications.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
• Two (2) years of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience
• One (1) year of React experience
• Experience building websites with WordPress
• Familiarity with PHP
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools
• This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis)
• Travel up to 10% annually

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
• Three (3) + years of HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience
• Two (2) + years of experience working with React
• Experience building websites with WordPress as a headless CMS
• Experience maintaining PHP code
• Practical experience using AI-powered solutions to streamline development processes or deliver innovative features

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver front-end assets for Hilton's websites, including component development, writing unit tests and bug fixes, and keeping compliance with web accessibility and platform standards.
• Follow the defined Agile framework delivering industry-leading front-end web solutions with premier quality and performance.
• Accept and demonstrate the core principles of front-end development practices and ensure these principles are followed throughout the team.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, delivery managers, quality engineers, designers, and other developers to design and implement the Hilton web application experience.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including grooming sessions, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for UI components along with contribution to reusable code libraries.
• Unit tests and end-to-end tests ensuring the test coverage meets minimum criteria and also mimics user behavior.
