About The Position

Deploy is an intelligence infrastructure platform that provides access to open source and proprietary AI models. The company operates optimized inference for leading open source LLMs and offers proprietary models for content safety, AI and deepfake detection, sponsorship intelligence, and intellectual property and publicity protection. Deploy has more than 250 employees across offices in San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and Delhi. Frontend Engineers help build the Deploy Data and Deploy Enterprise products. Working closely with designers, product owners, and other engineers, this role implements user interfaces for the company's core platforms using technologies including React, Redux, Webpack, and ES6. The team is small and fast-moving, and the engineer is expected to iterate quickly and make software design decisions for product features. The role offers autonomy and responsibility in a bottom-up product environment. The position is for a technically strong frontend engineer who is passionate about frontend technologies and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The expected base salary is $160,000–$250,000; actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Stock options may also be offered. Requirements

At least 6 years of experience.
Expertise in an object-oriented programming language.
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
Good understanding of React and Redux or similar frameworks, including the concepts behind them.
Ability to create polished web products and good user-experience sensibilities.
Receptiveness to feedback and commitment to improving skills.
Self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with little direction.
Experience working in collaborative environments.
Ability to write understandable, testable code with a focus on maintainability and scalability.

Participate in product decisions and help set reasonable development deadlines.
Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and work with the team to implement improvements.
Use OWASP Top 10 techniques to secure code from vulnerabilities.
Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance and handling relevant to the role.
Follow policies, guidelines, and procedures for protecting information assets.
Report actual or suspected security or policy violations and breaches to an appropriate authority.
