Requirements

• BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in a software engineering discipline
• Highly skilled in using at least one modern programming language
• Experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform or a similar infrastructure as code tool
• Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in a cloud computing environment
• Experience using Linux operating systems
• Experience with OLTP and OLAP databases
• Experience with high volume data processing and storage systems
• Able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
• Able to work with others on a team
• Able to learn continuously and adapt to a high growth environment
• Able to stick with and solve difficult problems

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining our mission critical data and analytics infrastructure.
• Working with a cross functional team to write technical design documents, create system infrastructure, write high quality code, and operate large scale systems in production.
• Reviewing other engineer’s designs and code.
• Providing technical mentorship to other engineers on the team and in the broader engineering organization.
