About The Position

The engineer will contribute to new product introduction and lifecycle-management capabilities that bring complex hardware platforms into production at OCI scale. This role focuses on developing provisioning and firmware automation, improving validation and operational workflows, and resolving hardware–software integration issues in partnership with engineering, security, compute, manufacturing, and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain provisioning, firmware-management, and hardware lifecycle services.
• Support qualification and on-boarding of new server, GPU, NIC, SmartNIC, and storage platforms.
• Build automation for firmware validation, metadata generation, compliance checks, and deployment readiness.
• Investigate and resolve production issues across provisioning, firmware, and hardware-management systems.
• Improve service reliability, scalability, and operational documentation.
• Provide on-call support for customer fleet issues in OCI data centers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, production-ready hardware launches.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, on-call support, and post-incident improvements.
