Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field and five (5) years of post bachelors, progressive related work experience.
Five (5) years of experience with/in: Software systems and infrastructure
Five (5) years of experience with/in: DB design and performance tuning for large scale database systems
Five (5) years of experience with/in: Building and operating large scale cloud infrastructures
Five (5) years of experience with/in: Performing platform integrations using REST
Five (5) years of experience with/in: Utilizing GIT and server technologies including NPM, Docker, NGINX, and Express/Node
Five (5) years of experience with/in: Utilizing SQL databases for customer service
Five (5) years of experience with/in: Utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go and Scala.

Responsibilities

Deliver creative improvements for our Engineering teams.
Utilize knowledge of computer science principles and engineering to build REST APIs that power core customer experiences.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of designs.
Configure monitoring for backend services and build CICD pipelines utilizing prominent languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go or Scala.
Develop integrations with our content management system.
Build features and services with reliability in mind.
Perform platform integrations using REST.
Work with GIT and server technologies to design and develop applications that support Atlassian’s software products and platforms.
