About The Position

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in C++, Linux, and Cloud Workload Security. This role involves end-to-end responsibility for developing new capabilities, from researching Linux security technologies to designing, implementing, and scaling strategies and algorithms. The engineer will work on low-level kernel hooks using eBPF and user-space processing pipelines, addressing system engineering challenges. The work directly enhances the security of Linux and cloud workloads for thousands of global customers, processing hundreds of millions of events daily. The ideal candidate is a talented software engineer experienced in Linux and cloud security, capable of exploring new technologies, designing innovative solutions from scratch, and driving new capabilities at scale.

Requirements

Experience in the Linux and the cloud security domain.

Responsibilities

End-to-end responsibility for developing new capabilities, starting from researching the landscape of new Linux related security technologies through design and implementation of strategies and algorithms, and delivering them at scale.
Work on low-level kernel hooks leveraging eBPF through user-space processing pipelines, along with pure system engineering challenges.
Write tests to cover new code.
Conduct low-level research and design new features.
Peer code reviews; Participate in team’s design reviews.
Learn new technologies in the Linux and cloud workload security domains.
Architect end-to-end security solutions for complex features with loose problem definition.
Support customers with issues and requests within the team’s domain.
Attend daily and weekly scrum meetings.
