About The Position

The Box Office Platform team sits within CoreWeave’s Fleet Engineering Organization, which is responsible for the automated provisioning and management of CoreWeave’s rapidly growing global fleet of hardware nodes and node types. This team plays a central role in CoreWeave’s growth by building the systems that coordinate hardware RMA, data center operations, node repairs, and vendor integrations into a cohesive, highly reliable fleet management engine. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Box Office Platform team, you will build and operate services and automation that power CoreWeave’s hardware lifecycle management experience. These Services enable internal stakeholders to manage repairs and remediation of server nodes as CoreWeave continues to grow. You’ll own Go-based services and APIs that connect our data centers, vendors, and internal platforms, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and easy to integrate with.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a software or infrastructure engineer building and operating production systems.
  • Proven professional experience writing production-grade backend services in Go (Golang).
  • Experience designing, implementing, and operating APIs using gRPC and/or GraphQL and REST, including versioning, authentication, and observability.
  • Hands-on experience working with databases (e.g., relational and/or NoSQL), including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling to support operational and reporting use cases.
  • Experience designing and implementing container-based microservices and integrating open-source tools to customize backend solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms, including deploying and operating backend services on them.
  • Experience integrating with third-party and vendor APIs in complex, heterogeneous environments.
  • Experience building internal tooling or limited UIs to support backend systems (e.g., operational dashboards or admin interfaces).
  • Experience in large-scale physical infrastructure environments (data centers, hardware fleets, or similar).
