About The Position

The Carrier Services team within Retail and Marcom Engineering (IS&T) builds the platform connecting Apple’s online and retail experiences with wireless carriers. The platform enables customers to activate devices, select plans, and complete purchases, and supports millions of customer transactions while integrating with major carriers worldwide. As a Software Engineer on the team, you will build and support backend services for device activation and carrier experiences across Apple’s online and retail channels. You will work across the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, release, and production support. In collaboration with carrier partners and cross-functional teams, you will help deliver reliable customer experiences worldwide. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs supporting order management, pricing, and device activation. You will work with engineering, QA, product, and carrier partners to solve complex problems, improve service performance and reliability, and troubleshoot production issues. You will also contribute to technical design discussions, review code, and help strengthen the team’s engineering practices.
