About The Position
SkyLink is building AI products for the travel industry, starting with an AI corporate travel agent that lives directly in Slack and Microsoft Teams. We help enterprises make booking and managing travel faster, easier, and more intelligent while integrating with the systems, policies, and travel management companies they already use. SkyLink is now part of the Amadeus family, and together we are working to deliver the next generation of AI-powered travel products to companies and travelers around the world. We were backed by Menlo Ventures, Y Combinator, Human Capital, and Fortune 50 CEOs. Our board of advisors includes former CEOs of Global Travel companies. We’re looking for a senior software engineer to help us build the best-in-class AI travel management platform. An ideal candidate has 5 years of software experience building nuanced technical systems and working in shared, collaborative codebases and environments.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of software experience building nuanced technical systems and working in shared, collaborative codebases and environments.
- Is scrappy, knows how to ship, and values progress over perfection
- Has built scalable systems
- Has strong security, relational database, and software design skills
- Can manage infrastructure across dev, staging, and production environments
- Wants to set, maintain, and adhere to great software engineering standards (comments, testing, documentation, high quality review)
- Enjoys using the latest AI coding technologies and harnesses to develop production systems
- Wants to deeply understand technical domains and work on large-scale challenges
- Wants ownership and autonomy in a role that will supercharge your growth both professionally and personally
Responsibilities
- Create Unified Integrations and APIs on top of complex travel systems (Sabre, TravelPort, Amadeus, etc)
- Design and implement database models that scale across our various customers and their systems
- Implement algorithms to determine ideal travel itineraries for corporate travelers.
- Implement travel purchases, rebookings, and cancellations
- Integrate our chatbot into email, slack, teams, sms, and any chat platform that may come up
- Architect an AI-driven platform to drive travel with LLMs
- Maintain and manage AWS infrastructure and internal CI/CD
