About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer at Tanium, you will build and maintain best-of-breed products as part of a nimble development team. You will specifically be a part of a team that is building out a new service that manages all the certificates for our internal services. This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the office at one of the following locations a minimum of three days per week: Addison, TX or Durham, NC.

Requirements

Must be eligible to obtain the FedRAMP security clearance at a minimum.
Proficient with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot).
5+ years industry experience.
Knowledge of at least one of Golang (preferred), Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Java.
Experience with React, Javascript, or typescript.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and other infrastructure technology.
Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like git and Jenkins.
Demonstrates sound judgment for balancing between rapid development, long-term code maintainability and supportability.
Experienced debugger who can put out fires under pressure when things go wrong in production environments.
Has knowledge of a variety of modern software frameworks (server side & browser side) and the versatility to learn new tools.
