Senior Software Engineer, Back End

EvertuneSeattle, WA

About The Position

Evertune is building the first AI discovery platform for modern marketers, helping brands understand what AI says about them, their competitive standing, and how to appear more often in AI-powered answers. The platform translates black-box AI behavior into actionable insights for marketing teams. Founded by leaders who scaled The Trade Desk, Evertune brings deep expertise in digital advertising, data, and high-growth environments, pioneering a new category at the intersection of AI, SEO, and brand strategy. The company raised a $15M Series A and is backed by top-tier VC investors. Evertune's culture values speed, bold thinking, and believes the best ideas win. You will join Evertune’s engineering team, a tight-knit, ambitious group building quickly at the frontier of AI and search, with teammates primarily based in New York and Seattle. The team values craft, momentum, clear thinking, and turning ambiguity into product. As an early member, you will have a meaningful influence on what is built, how it is built, and how the engineering organization evolves. This role involves building the backend systems that power Evertune’s core product experience, including APIs, business logic, data flows, and integrations for AI-native workflows. Evertune is looking for a product-minded backend engineer who can translate complex requirements into clean, scalable services and help turn cutting-edge AI capabilities into reliable, intuitive software for customers. You will contribute directly to core product development and partner closely with product, design, and engineering to build systems that are thoughtful, performant, and built for iteration. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning backend problems end to end, thrives in ambiguity, and is excited to help define what great AI-native product development looks like from the backend out. You should be excited by AI-native product experiences, energized by ambiguity, and already heavily using AI tools and LLMs in your own workflow to operate with greater leverage.
