Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with large scale application design and architecture.
3 years of experience with Android application development.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Ability to help/mentor others, working as a team, and creating psychologically safe spaces.
Excellent investigative skills, especially as it relates to reviewing AI generated code.

Responsibilities

Ideate and build new Photos features that make use of the latest Pixel capabilities and hardware.
Design and implement new frameworks that help Pixel and Photos engineers operate in this shared space.
Advise on projects with your technical expertise.
Make use of AI in ways that help both development and the product in a responsible way.
