We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help develop the next generation of aircraft seating. This is an onsite position in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Requirements

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position.
The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.
Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++.
Knowledge of DO-178 is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with containerized applications such as Docker.
Experience with embedded or low-level software development, including OS-adjacent or hardware-interfacing work.
Experience with CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development Methodologies.

Responsibilities

Work on complex technical problems and provide highly innovative solutions.
Effectively contribute at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration.
Utilize strong investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop solutions.
Work effectively with teams across multiple disciplines, internal and external.
Effectively contribute to program and customer meetings/reviews.
Support program leads as needed regarding technical decision making and problem resolution.
Perform technical leadership roles for at least one key task or line item on programs.
Help to ensure performance to technical, cost, schedule, and quality.
Support of system and software requirements and architecture generation and analysis as needed.
