About The Position

As a leader in aviation interior products and services, we’re helping airlines and original equipment manufacturers create a positive experience for their customers. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help develop the next generation of aircraft seating. This is an onsite position in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position.
  • The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.
  • Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++.
  • Knowledge of DO-178 is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with containerized applications such as Docker.
  • Experience with embedded or low-level software development, including OS-adjacent or hardware-interfacing work.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development Methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Work on complex technical problems and provide highly innovative solutions.
  • Effectively contribute at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration.
  • Utilize strong investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop solutions.
  • Work effectively with teams across multiple disciplines, internal and external.
  • Effectively contribute to program and customer meetings/reviews.
  • Support program leads as needed regarding technical decision making and problem resolution.
  • Perform technical leadership roles for at least one key task or line item on programs.
  • Help to ensure performance to technical, cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Support of system and software requirements and architecture generation and analysis as needed.
