This role involves architecting, designing, developing, and validating embedded modular system software and low-level firmware in C/C++ for RF/high-speed converter front-end, chip, and SoC products. The engineer will collaborate with a broad, cross-functional team, including RF transceiver Analog/Digital/System Designers, FPGA Designers, and Applications Engineers. A key aspect of the role is to lead the definition and development of system prototypes and technology demonstrators to explore new architectures in RF system design and calibration. Additionally, the position requires designing and developing MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) system products, with a focus on algorithms for sensor calibration, data processing, and error correction. The engineer will also design, develop, and validate embedded software for MEMS IMU/GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) sensor fusion products and implement machine learning techniques for optimizing sensor performance, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance in embedded systems.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field (or foreign education equivalent).
  • Three (3) years of experience in developing embedded software, embedded software frameworks, and device drivers for RF transceivers and MEMs products.
  • Demonstrated Expertise (DE) in embedded programming with ARM Assembly and C/C++.
  • DE in integrating ARM microcontroller platforms into complex system-level designs, including ASICs and SOCs.
  • DE in software development methodology and process, designing and implementing software frameworks for unit testing, code coverage, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • DE in software design or architecture for high-speed digital converter systems.
  • DE in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms for RF transceivers and control theories.
  • Proficiency in Python and MATLAB.
  • DE in system design and compensation algorithms using accelerometers and gyroscopes.
  • DE with GNSS technology and the implementation of sensor fusion algorithms.
