The role requires substantial experience with Edifecs products and EDI/HIPAA operations, healthcare payer/provider workflows, X.12 transaction interpretation, AWS environments, and partner validation. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience is requested. Edifecs certification is listed under professional certifications; AWS certification is a bonus.

  • Experience working with SpecBuilder maps and implementation guides.
  • Ability to identify issues sourced from Edifecs routes, profiles, or rulesets, and interpret Edifecs logs and error codes at the functional layer.
  • Proficiency in identifying transaction-error root causes, resolving mapping mismatches, troubleshooting payer or state-system rejections, and reviewing parsed EDI structures stored in SQL databases.
  • Ability to understand inbound and outbound workflow architecture.
  • Ability to communicate technical architecture decisions and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience gathering and translating business reporting requirements into technical data models.
  • Comfort driving ambiguous architecture decisions to resolution with limited direction.
