About The Position

SAIC has an immediate need for a Senior Software Developer to support the Precision Fires team for CCDC Aviation and Missile Center, Systems Simulation, Software and Integration Directorate (S3I) located on Redstone Arsenal, in Huntsville, Alabama. The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of embedded software for military systems, performing development activities for the full life cycle of a software program. Requirements

  • Design and development of embedded software for military systems.
  • Full life cycle of a software program development.
  • Requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, test, documentation, and support.
  • Participation in software team meetings, hardware and software design reviews, and technical interchange meetings.
  • Collaboration with Cyber, Safety, Operations, and Test organizations.
  • Working in a team environment supporting new and legacy embedded systems.
  • Direct customer interaction for feedback on software implementation.
