About The Position

You’ll be part of a team building our next-generation services for commercial aviation customers. As part of our software engineering team, you’ll continue to enhance functionality for dispatch, performance, scheduling, tracking, documentation and/or weather. Main responsibilities: Full stack development, maintenance, and testing on new and existing apps and services in a cloud environment. Independently own and drive the implementation of complex technical features, from design documentation through deployment. Mentor and guide the work of junior and intermediate team members, nurturing their growth and development. Serve as a technical subject matter expert, leading technical designs, performing code reviews, and driving best practices and operational excellence standards across the organization to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions. Propose and lead initiatives that align with NAVBLUE's business goals while encouraging team collaboration and engagement.

Requirements

  • At least seven (7+) years of professional experience developing software with .NET, C#, AWS or equivalent backend technologies.
  • Experience working with frontend technologies such as Vue.js and Typescript or similar.
  • Experience leading a team of software developers.
  • Strong technical communication skills, ability to share concepts to various audiences.
  • You have a College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree within the software engineering area of study or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in English

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally, holding certification as an AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Developer or be willing to earn certification within the first year at NAVBLUE (supported and funded by NAVBLUE).
