About The Position

Sunrise Futures is looking to hire a highly talented Senior Software Developer to join our technology team. This role involves working collaboratively with technology and business teams on trading and research platforms, designing and implementing high-quality software solutions for algorithmic trading, exchange connectivity, and research. The position offers the opportunity to explore and work with industry-leading hardware and software alongside industry experts in technology and finance. The Senior Software Developer will also lead and mentor junior team members, take ownership of and lead projects from start to finish (including design, roll-out, and testing), and work on challenging and dynamic problems in a team atmosphere.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
5+ years of experience in software development
Solid programming skills and strong understanding of general programming concepts such as OOP, data structures, and multi-threading
Experience with C++ or a similar language
Problem solvers who are driven, self-motivated, and "outside of the box" thinkers
Motivated, dependable, and responsible team players
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be willing to take ownership and lead others

Responsibilities
