Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a growth- and business-results-oriented team
- Advanced expertise in Java and Go
- Demonstrated passion for AI-driven development
- Fluency in English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, customers and partners (or suppliers) who are mostly located outside Quebec. For positions in research and development, it is also necessary to understand the technical and scientific documentation of our industry, most of which is available in English.
- Knowledge of French is required for permanent positions in Quebec, to enable the incumbent to communicate as needed with colleagues, partners and suppliers in Quebec.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement scalable backend services using WebRTC for signaling and audio management for our softphone, as well as integrating telephony and messaging features with WhatsApp, while producing maintainable, high-quality code through rigorous code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Quickly integrate into the team by mastering the established development cycle and deploying frequently using small, incremental changes, while participating in on-call rotations to support team-owned services.
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and automate operational workflows, while promoting a strong DevOps culture and maintaining technical documentation.
