About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to support our Huntsville, AL location. This role involves developing, coding, testing, and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business applications, user requirements, performance, quality, interface, and security needs. Responsibilities include collaborating with technical staff to resolve software issues, addressing customer feedback, and potentially assisting in the creation of software user manuals. The role also encompasses desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages and automated patching/deployment technologies, documentation, and training, including automating application and configuration deployments and updates.

Requirements

8 years of experience Java, Springboot, Angular, Python, AWS, C#, Vue.js
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work.
Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Responsibilities

Develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software.
Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
May assist in development of software user manuals.
Responsible for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training to include automating application and configuration deployments and updates.
