King County Department of Judicial Administration is seeking a Senior Software Developer (IT Engineer – Senior) to join our Technology Services Division! We are looking for someone who has experience in software development on large and complex systems, advanced knowledge of information systems and technology principles, can think creatively to troubleshoot problems, and has high attention to detail. As the Senior Software Developer you will be responsible for developing user interfaces and business processes for various systems, devices and data exchanges. The Department of Judicial Administration’s core business applications form a highly complex, distributed system serving multiple departments, external agencies, and the public for the submission and management of King County Superior Court case filings, court documents, and related working copy documents submitted to the Court. These applications are comprised of off-the-shelf, reconfigured-off - the-shelf and custom software components. Our Technology Services Division (TSD) supports the mission of the Department of Judicial Administration by enabling business processes through the use of information technology (IT). The Department of Judicial Administration (DJA), also known as the Superior Court Clerk's Office, serves as the independent record keeper for King County Superior Court. DJA is a forward-looking agency that uses technology to help perform a wide range of tasks more effectively, efficiently, and reliably for the Court, litigants and the public.
