About The Position

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Software Developer to join our Corporate IT team based in our Canton, MA; Boston, MA or Farmington, CT offices on a hybrid schedule or remotely located in Raleigh, NC. Build the platforms that power specialty insurance at global scale. As our Senior Software Developer, you’ll combine hands‑on engineering with team leadership to ship secure, high‑performing solutions across .NET (C#), Angular/React, and Azure. You’ll architect microservices, craft elegant UIs, and automate CI/CD — all while mentoring a high‑impact squad and partnering with product, design, and underwriting to turn complex needs into simple, scalable software that delights users and moves the business. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular and React for front-end development.
  • Proven experience deploying and managing applications in Azure.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server and ORM frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
  • Build dynamic and responsive user interfaces using Angular and React.
  • Implement and optimize solutions on Azure, leveraging services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, and Azure DevOps.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
  • Ensure applications meet performance benchmarks and comply with security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.
