About The Position

As a Senior Software Developer on the Agentic Virtual Assistant team, you’ll help lead Redfin’s push to bring generative AI into the hands of every real estate agent. This team is building an AI assistant deeply embedded in Redfin’s Agent Tools, enabling agents to work smarter, move faster, and more effectively serve customers through every step of the home buying and selling journey. In this role, you’ll help shape the architecture, strategy, and technical direction of systems that combine Redfin’s rich data ecosystem with cutting-edge AI capabilities. Requirements

5+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack software systems at scale, specifically in React, Java, and PostgreSQL.
Energized by the potential of AI and excited to explore how generative AI can improve developer productivity and empower non-technical teams to work more effectively.
Highly curious, adaptable, and comfortable navigating fast-moving technologies and evolving product spaces.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of influencing technical direction, building alignment across teams, and partnering effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Thrive in ambiguous environments, exercise sound technical judgment, and know how to prioritize for both speed and long-term maintainability.
