About The Position

BinSentry is an extremely fast-growing ag-tech company focused on providing solutions for the agriculture supply chain that help increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance profitability. BinSentry offers technology solutions that pair best-in-class optical sensors with user-friendly software to provide customers with enhanced forecasting and decision-making capabilities. The company is monitoring more than 64,000 bins in real time across North America. This role is a new vacancy due to growing business needs, seeking a Senior Software Developer to help build the software that is changing the face of the feed industry. The role involves developing BinSentry's newest product line, working on the ProSense HD product. The team is small, fast-moving, and outcomes-focused, tackling interesting and hard problems driven by data. The developer will work across the product backend & ML pipeline, developing innovative solutions to improve sensor accuracy and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript (React, Node.js)
• Proficiency in Python

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated Computer vision, ML architecture & problem solving ability preferred
• Proficiency in AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, Serverless) is a plus
• 3D image capturing experience, particularly around accuracy is an asset
