About The Position

You will join the SBU Portal team, the group that owns the internal and partner facing portal experience and the critical migration away from the legacy Partner Tool toward the new Plusgrade Portal. Your daily work will involve designing robust solutions that facilitate this transition while ensuring a seamless and high performance user experience for our partners. To achieve this, you will participate in re-engineering how software gets built at Plusgrade, where AI is a core part of our operating model for code production, review, and delivery, allowing you to build smarter and faster. You will own technical quality end to end, from API architecture to operational support, ensuring every piece of code brings Plusgrade closer to its technological future.

Requirements

Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, API design, data stores, and cloud deployments on AWS, with a proven ability to design large scale distributed systems.
A sharp systems mindset that allows you to lead complex migrations from legacy systems to modern architectures without ever compromising service continuity.
Structurally changed how your organization operates around AI by setting standards and building shared systems that enable your peers to deliver high quality code materially faster.
A technical anchor for your teammates, not just for your code quality, but for your ability to translate complex technical trade-offs for product managers and partner facing teams.
