About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a motivated Senior Software Developer to join a team designing, implementing, and testing a Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) THAAD simulation program. This role may involve travel for flight tests and other activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, adaptability in a dynamic, customer-focused environment, and knowledge in configuration management, test-driven development, and real-time development.

Requirements

US Citizenship.
Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.
15 or more years of progressively complex software design engineering experience.
20+ years of experience in C/C++ Software development.
Red Hat Linux Development environment.
Strong git repository skills for configuration management.
Exposure to signal injection for sensors.
Experience with every portion of Software Development Lifecycle.
Experience with HWIL development alongside OEMs.
Experience with optimizing software to fully utilize different hardware platforms.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
