About The Position

Arthur Grand Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Developer with Mainframe (PL/I) experience for a contract position in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This role involves onsite work three business days a week and is expected to run from November 2026 to September 2027. The developer will be responsible for programming and analysis within the mainframe environment, focusing on PL/I and related technologies.

Requirements

• PL/I V4.5+ (recent experience within the last 5 years)
• IBM z/OS, IMS DB (HALDB/DEDB, PLITDLI), and DB2 for z/OS
• PL/I/XML transaction processing
• Endevor, IMS BMPs, MFS, and mainframe debugging tools
• 10+ years of programming and analysis experience

Nice To Haves

• Public sector experience
• Transportation domain experience

Responsibilities

• Programming and analysis experience in a mainframe environment.
• Utilizing PL/I V4.5+ for transaction processing.
