About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to support their Huntsville, AL location. This role involves developing, coding, testing, and debugging new software or enhancing existing software. The successful candidate will need a strong understanding of business applications, as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements. They will work closely with technical staff to understand and resolve software problems, address customer complaints, and implement suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Additionally, the position may involve assisting in the development of software user manuals. Key responsibilities also include desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training, specifically including the automation of application and configuration deployments and updates.

An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work.
Ability to maintain this level of clearance during employment.
Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience

Responsibilities

Develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software.
Has good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.
