Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience building and operating scalable, reliable backend systems in production.
• Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, networking, databases).
• Proven experience designing distributed systems with a focus on performance and fault tolerance.
• Exceptional ownership mindset: You drive initiatives forward, guide teams through ambiguity, and raise the bar.
• Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Strong experience with complex ETL flows and high-throughput systems (highly preferred).
• Experience with e-commerce or catalog management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of complex backend systems enabling 3D and computer vision experiences at scale.
• Develop mission-critical APIs, data pipelines, and services supporting high-velocity global applications.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to define technical direction, foundational investments, and long-term scalability.
• Mentor other senior engineers, conduct deep architecture reviews, and champion engineering excellence (resiliency, observability, maintainability).
• Influence hiring, onboarding, and growth strategies to ensure a healthy, high-performing engineering organization.
