About The Position

The client is seeking a senior software architect capable of contributing to both the definition of the target architecture and providing hands-on support to development teams in a modernization program. The priority of the mandate is not solely architectural design, but the integration of artificial intelligence into software development practices at scale. The candidate must be able to translate business needs into realistic architectural decisions while mentoring technical teams. This role should not be confused with that of an infrastructure architect or an AI expert specializing solely in data science. The successful candidate will contribute to defining the architectural foundations of a next-generation system, leveraging artificial intelligence for both modernization and the development of new features. Experienced in complex, large-scale environments, the candidate will be expected to provide technical leadership at two levels: high-level architectural design and hands-on support to development teams in implementing the chosen technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior software architect on large-scale modernization projects
• Software architecture, best practices, and technology trends
• Microservices and service-oriented architectures
• Kubernetes containerization and orchestration
• AWS cloud computing
• Integration of artificial intelligence in software development, GitHub Copilot, code generation, test automation, performance optimization, DevOps CI/CD, AI agent design and orchestration
• Technical leadership, mentoring, and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
