About The Position

Cardinal Technology Systems Corp. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Senior Software/Application Developer to work for our company. This role requires eligibility to obtain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection suitability, which includes U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies. The client agency for this position is Customs & Border Protection. The developer will devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and the form of desired results. They will act as a high-level technical expert in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or significant enhancements to existing software. This includes designing and coding software components, units, and modules that meet product specifications and development schedules, as well as testing and debugging assigned components and units. The role involves participating in large systems and subsystem planning, adhering to product build and release schedules and strategies, and acting as a technical resource for lower-level developers. The developer will also work with technical staff to understand software problems and develop specifications to resolve them.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection suitability.
  • Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies.
  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in an IT-related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
