Anoka County Community Social Services and Behavioral Health (CSS/BH) currently has one full-time Senior Social Worker position available. This role is responsible for providing assessments and early intervention for individuals referred to the Behavioral Health Intake unit. The unit serves adults by offering early intervention and resource navigation services. Using a person-centered approach, the primary goal is to meet individuals where they are at. Senior Social workers are responsible for coordinating access to appropriate county and community services tailored to mental health, substance abuse and social service needs for clients. After the assessment period is complete, clients are transferred to ongoing service teams for continued support if appropriate. Behavioral Health Intake services are open to all Anoka County residents, regardless of age, income, diagnosis, or insurance status. Referrals are accepted from a wide range of sources, including hospitals, treatment facilities, outpatient clinics, and law enforcement agencies.
