About The Position

We believe social is more than a channel—it's where brands build culture, earn relevance, and create lasting relationships with consumers. We're looking for a Senior Social Strategist who is equal parts strategist, storyteller, researcher, and leader. You'll help shape bold ideas using consumer insights, cultural intelligence, data, and creativity to uncover opportunities others miss. You'll champion social-first thinking across the agency, inspire teams, and build strategic programs that drive business results and meaningful brand connections. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of culture, creativity, analytics, and innovation, and is passionate about helping brands do what has never been done before. This role, reports to the Head of Strategy, and will focus heavily on Samsung, helping shape the future of one of the world's most recognized brands across multiple audiences, channels, and experiences, as well as other select pieces of business.

Requirements

  • 6+ years focused specifically on social media strategy within an advertising, digital, or integrated agency.
  • Experience leading strategic workstreams and presenting to senior clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Advertising, Social Sciences, English, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
  • Deep passion and understanding of consumer behavior, cultural trends, and the evolving social media landscape.
  • Mid- to senior-level expertise in developing insight-driven social strategies that connect business objectives with audience needs.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, with the ability to translate observations into meaningful consumer insights.
  • Ability to develop strategic frameworks, messaging architectures, content ecosystems, and measurement plans.
  • Extensive knowledge of major social platforms, emerging channels, creator ecosystems, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Strong understanding of social-first content development and the creative process.
  • Experience with social publishing, listening, analytics, and measurement platforms.
  • Understanding of community management and how brands build authentic relationships with audiences online.
  • Proficiency in social analytics, KPIs, performance measurement, reporting, and optimization.
  • Ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives and actionable business recommendations.
  • Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience crafting senior-level presentations that influence decision-making.
  • Ability to confidently facilitate workshops, client meetings, and strategic discussions.
  • Strong collaborator who builds productive relationships across disciplines and leadership levels.

Responsibilities

  • Guides Social Strategy: Recommend integrated social strategies for key agency clients, ensuring social plays a meaningful role in broader brand and business objectives.
  • Translate audience insights, cultural trends, competitive analysis, and research into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Recommend and collaborate on social best practices, messaging frameworks, content ecosystems, and channel strategies that differentiate brands.
  • Manage social communities, moderate content, content calendar development and reporting
  • Develop inspiring social-first creative briefs that translate strategy into compelling social-first creative.
  • Foster Client Relationships: Serve as a trusted strategic partner to senior team leaders and clients.
  • Present recommendations with confidence and clarity, guiding conversations around consumer behavior, social trends, measurement, and business impact.
  • Guide strategic frameworks, scorecards, POVs, and planning tools that inform decision-making and demonstrate value.
  • Help Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Brand Strategy, Connections Strategy, Creative, Account Management, Media, Analytics, Data Science, and Production teams.
  • Influence integrated planning and social-first thinking throughout the agency.
  • Build strong internal partnerships and model collaborative ways of working.
  • Shape Strategic Vision: Stay ahead of emerging consumer behaviors, platform innovations, creator trends, and cultural movements.
  • Translate industry developments into thought leadership, actionable POVs, and opportunities for clients and internal teams.
  • Contribute to the evolution of agency strategy tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Partner with New Business: Support new business development by contributing strategic thinking, research, presentations, and client pitches.
  • Help growth opportunities within existing client relationships by proactively offering innovative social solutions and capabilities.
  • Support the Strategy Discipline: Collaborate in an open and inclusive culture grounded in curiosity, empathy, and continuous learning.
  • Help evolve how strategy is practiced across the agency through knowledge sharing and bringing fresh perspectives.
  • Support the mentorship of Junior Strategists: Show enthusiasm for recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new talent with senior leadership.
