Senior Site Reliability Engineer

C-Serv
$85 - $105Onsite

About The Position

This is a hands-on senior engineering role on a FedRAMP-authorised platform: real architecture work, real incident ownership, real compliance stakes. If you want a role where your decisions actually shape the infrastructure rather than just maintaining someone else's, this is it. Build the systems. Fix what breaks. Help keep a regulated cloud platform audit-ready.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years in SRE, cloud DevOps, or infrastructure architecture.
  • Strong AWS experience (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, KMS) and hands-on GovCloud exposure.
  • Deep Kubernetes/EKS knowledge, including cluster upgrades, Helm, and container security.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and GitOps workflows.
  • US citizenship and US-soil residency.
  • Availability for rotational on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Reliability and design decisions across multi-cluster Amazon EKS and AWS Commercial/GovCloud infrastructure.
  • Advanced incident response, including root cause analysis, resolution, and post-incident reviews.
  • Managing a portion of FedRAMP compliance, including vulnerability management, DISA STIG hardening, and NIST SP 800-53 controls.
  • Observability architecture using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and defining meaningful SLIs/SLOs.

Benefits

  • Defined contract term (Mid-September through end of March).
  • Competitive W2 hourly rate ($85–$105/hr).
  • Direct exposure to a live FedRAMP audit environment.
  • Clear scope from day one.
  • Straight talk from recruiter about the engagement.
