About The Position

The Senior Site Quality Engineer leads continuous improvement projects to support defect-free manufacturing, meet customer requirements, uphold high-quality standards, and drive business results through technical expertise and leadership. The role supports quality management, dimensional engineering, problem solving, metrology, and process improvement while collaborating with manufacturing, tooling, and customers. It also includes coaching less experienced team members in quality practices and core tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related technical field).
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in GD&T, AIAG Core Tools, and metrology software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical data clearly to stakeholders and customers.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CMM programming or 3D scanning.
• Knowledge of 6S, welding processes, or Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Proficiency in Minitab or advanced Excel for statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP requirements.
• Perform GD&T analysis and use PolyWorks for 3D measurement and part validation.
• Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa methods to resolve internal and external quality issues.
• Provide technical support for metrology, SPC, and MSA (Gage R&R) studies.
• Use Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce scrap, rework, and process variation.
• Work with manufacturing, tooling, and customers to manage change and resolve nonconformities.
• Coach less experienced team members in quality practices and core tools.
