About The Position

Tecovas was founded with the simple goal of making the world's best western boots, apparel and leather goods - and selling them at a fair price. We are a brand revolutionizing a category and welcoming first-time boot buyers and western enthusiasts alike. Tecovas is looking for a Senior Site Merchant to own and execute digital merchandising and brand storytelling across Tecovas.com. Reporting directly to the Senior Digital Manager, you will build and launch marketing-driven site experiences—including homepage updates, landing pages, and editorial content—while partnering cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and e-commerce teams. As the Sr Site merchant, you will own campaign execution end-to-end, ensuring timely launches, effective merchandising, and continuous optimization based on performance insights. This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or site merchandising.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify, Shopify Plus, or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Proven experience building homepage experiences, landing pages, and executing digital campaigns.
  • Experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, or similar) to inform decisions.
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital content strategy.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing or personalization tools.
  • You are detail-oriented and take pride in delivering high-quality, error-free work.
  • You have strong ownership and consistently drive projects from concept to execution.
  • You can balance multiple priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are a strong cross-functional partner and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • You have a proactive mindset and look for ways to improve processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage homepage modules and campaign landing pages to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and marketing initiatives
  • Own on-site execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring assets, messaging, and product placement align with brand strategy and business priorities
  • Create, set up, and manage blog and editorial content that enhances product storytelling and drives engagement
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, creative, merchandising, and e-commerce teams to gather assets, communicate requirements, and ensure successful campaign launches
  • Monitor and report on campaign and content performance, analyzing how homepage placements, landing pages, and editorial content impact engagement, traffic, and conversion
  • Advocate for accurate campaign tracking and use insights to optimize future merchandising and content strategies
  • Apply SEO best practices across landing pages, blogs, and marketing content to improve organic traffic and site discoverability
