Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience as a Senior Site Manager in NZ working on projects ranging from $25m+
  • A relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field or a recognized certification or qualification in Carpentry, such as a National Certificate in Carpentry or an equivalent trade certification.
  • Successful track record in leadership positions with the ability to motivate team members and drive success is paramount.
  • Proven experience delivering complex fit-out projects is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • MOE, MOJ and/or Data Centre project experience is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Assume overall accountability for the leadership, performance, and coordination of the site team.
  • Ensure all safety, quality, cost, and programme requirements are achieved throughout the duration of the contract, including the maintenance period that follows, as the principal company representative on site.
  • Lead by example, providing day-to-day leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members while contributing to successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of contract documentation, construction methodologies, and budget management, while ensuring robust quality control, compliance, and risk management processes are maintained on site.
  • Effectively manage programme, cost, quality, subcontractors, and stakeholder relationships across large-scale and complex construction projects.
  • Champion a positive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) culture, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
