You will optimize silviculture regimes to maximize productivity, efficiency, and financial returns across your designated area. By overseeing everything from site preparation to timber stand improvements and managing a complex network of contractor relationships, you serve as a driving force in the growth and health of our forest assets. We are seeking an experienced professional with a deep commitment to operational excellence and sustainable practices. In this role, you will be: Strategic Silviculturist: You will advance market-driven precision forestry principles through effective investment and prudent capital allocation that meets established ROI criteria. Operational Architect: You will plan and implement site-specific prescriptions and treatments, optimizing resource allocation to reduce costs and maximize productivity. Financial Steward: You will develop and manage silviculture budgets and forecasts, monitoring costs against projections to drive maximum financial performance from our assets. Contractor Management Lead: You will oversee the contract process, assessing contractor capabilities, mitigating capacity risks, and building strong, compliant relationships. Collaborative Professional: You will foster a culture of collaboration while maintaining strong partnerships with research cooperatives, adjacent landowners, and public agencies.
