About The Position

Teradyne is seeking a Senior Signal/Power Integrity Engineer to support high-speed signal integrity and power integrity work. The role involves developing custom code and scripts to accelerate setup using Cadence tools, or creating software utilities that improve process effectiveness and efficiency. The engineer will support PCB layout by assisting with floorplanning and stack-up trade-offs and defining routing constraints. In partnership with hardware circuit design teams, the engineer will address challenging signal and power integrity problems to meet tight specifications. The role also includes organizing and executing high-priority simulations to help prevent design escapes and problems during bring-up and design verification.

This is a 12-month contract position based onsite in North Reading, Massachusetts. Candidates must be local to the position location; relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
• At least 10 years of related experience; internships do not count toward this requirement.
• Primary experience with Cadence, Ansys, or Keysight signal-integrity/power-integrity tools.
• Skills in transmission-line theory, frequency- and time-domain evaluation, and electromagnetic fields.
• Above-average organization, planning, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and CoPilot.
• Must be local to the position location; relocation is not provided.
• The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Tcl, or similar tools or languages.
• Experience leading a team and/or taking primary responsibility for a project.
• Some experience or skills in taking laboratory measurements; preferred but not required.
