About The Position

Praescient Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Developer to join our team supporting the Army G-2’s Data Capabilities Division (DCD), Intelligence and Automation Operations (IAO) at Fort Belvoir, VA. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, customizing, and maintaining the digital ecosystem and SharePoint portals used to synchronize intelligence content and ensure seamless data access for tactical units, joint forces, and coalition partners across multiple networks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of dedicated experience in SharePoint Development (including customized code, custom web parts, and workflow generation).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience navigating the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) via Agile, SCRUM, or Lean methodologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Minimum of 5 years conducting various development testing methods (Unit, System, Functional, UAT).
  • Minimum of 5 years documenting software defects using bug-tracking software.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience mentoring junior development personnel.
  • Active DoD Top Secret / SCI with a Special Background Investigation (SBI) and eligibility to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Must possess a valid baseline DoD 8570.1-M / DoDD 8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) upon onboarding.
  • US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and modify custom SharePoint applications, web parts, and advanced workflows to fully utilize platform capabilities.
  • Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery to develop clean, intuitive user interfaces for high-visibility portals and repositories.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) under an Agile/SCRUM framework, estimating levels of effort and aligning development with mission priorities.
  • Execute rigorous testing protocols, including Unit, System, Functional, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Identify, log, and report software defects utilizing a formal bug tracking system, collaborating closely with QA analysts and project managers.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior personnel regarding development best practices and procedural standards.
