About The Position

Kentro is hiring for an experienced ServiceNow Senior System Admin for Kentro’s VA ESOM-End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States. In this role, you will plan and execute System Administrative tasks with a specialized focus on ServiceNow operations and leading teams. This role will collaborate with other Operations team to plan and execute all System Administrative tasks for the ServiceNow platform and may direct junior administrative staff. This role requires strong platform expertise and serves as a technical authority for administration activities. Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in computer science, electronics, engineering or other engineering or technical discipline (OR an additional 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree requirement for a total of 20+ years)
  • 10+ years total relevant experience
  • 4+ years of ServiceNow administration experience.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Experience mentoring or directing junior administrators.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL service management processes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Experience supporting a federal client

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all System Administrative tasks related to Platform Operations; direct and mentor junior admins.
  • Manage ServiceNow instance configuration, upgrades, patching, and system health.
  • Oversee user management, group and role administration, and access control configurations.
  • Monitor platform performance and proactively identify and resolve system issues.
  • Develop and maintain administration SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.
  • Support change management processes for platform updates and modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal security standards and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects and developers on configuration standards and platform governance.
