About The Position

The Senior ServiceNow Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, maintaining data model standards, and designing & implementing integrations between Salesforce, ServiceNow, Data Warehouse, and other third party applications. This position will work to design, implement, and deploy solutions and enhancements to existing and new components. You will need to have broad understanding across the platform including ITSM, CSM, ITBM, ITOM, and ITIL processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), workflows.
• Demonstrated experience with various ServiceNow integration types, including: REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Scheduled Jobs, Integration Hub, Event Notifications, Outbound Web Services.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages, including: JavaScript, GlideScript, Business Rules.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex ServiceNow solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and best practices.
• Create custom applications, integrations, and workflows within the ServiceNow platform.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.
• Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and best practices, recommending and implementing enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with architects, analysts, and other team members to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions.
• Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering their professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with ServiceNow Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and standards.
• Design and implement complex ITSM workflows, including incident management, problem management, change management, and knowledge management processes.
• Automate ITSM processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Integrate ITSM workflows with other enterprise applications and systems.
