About The Position

We are a growing company looking to add an experienced senior service technician to support our customers’ service needs on packaging equipment. Our ideal candidate would have more than 4 years of experience in a maintenance or installation type role looking to advance their skillset even further. The pay range we’re offering starts at $32-$40 per hour ($66k-$83k), commensurate with experience. Requirements

  • 4+ years Field Service experience in packaging or repair field
  • Advanced knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical (High & Low Voltages) concepts
  • Understand the essential principles of PLC’s, VFD’s, Sensors, Switches, Relays
  • Ability to read CAD drawings
  • Excellent ability in troubleshooting and repairing equipment
  • Ability to work in challenging and time-sensitive situations
  • Valid Driver’s License (Company Vehicle Provided)

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily field service repairs on customers’ packaging equipment
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to support machinery sales
  • Lead large machine installation projects with other Service Technicians
  • Perform planned maintenance on customers’ equipment
  • Complete service tickets at the end of each service call documenting the visit, including service performed, service time, travel time and parts required.
  • Work directly with customers to resolve equipment issues
  • Install and train customers on new equipment placements
  • Obtain parts information and submit parts requests to Service Coordinator to aid in completing repairs
  • Train up new Service Techs as needed
