About The Position

The Senior Server and Patching Infrastructure Management Specialist will be responsible for architecting, maintaining, and enhancing infrastructure, including the integration of various API products. This role involves setting up, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting software updates and patching using tools like Tanium Deploy and SCCM. The specialist will implement best practices for server installations, with a deep understanding of operating systems and registry settings. The position requires extensive hands-on administration of infrastructure management modules and server management, including mass installations, removals, updates, and registry modifications. A strong understanding of networking concepts and proficiency in coding and scripting for automation are essential. Familiarity with project management principles and ITIL processes, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and exceptional organizational abilities are also required. The role involves coordinating system changes across various teams and performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Requirements

Extensive hands-on administration of infrastructure management modules (e.g., Tanium Asset, Patch, Deploy, SCCM, SCOR, Ansible).
Proficient in mass installations, removals, updates, and registry modifications for servers (e.g., Windows servers).
Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WINS.
Proficiency in server/security automation workflows using languages and tools (e.g., Python, Jenkins, Ansible, PowerShell, Batch).
Familiarity with project management principles and ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in multi-team collaborations, both on-site and remotely.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a customer-service focused attitude.
Capability to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, run book instructions, and knowledge base information.
Working knowledge of configuration and orchestration management systems (e.g., Microsoft SCCM, SCOR).
4+ years of hands-on experience with infrastructure products (e.g., Tanium, SCCM), including implementation, maintenance, fine-tuning, and agent testing with other products.
5+ years of experience managing servers (e.g., Windows Server OS 2008 and above) and proficiently managing Linux servers.
3+ years of experience handling enterprise endpoint management in a multi-site environment with 1000+ nodes, and packaging and deploying applications using relevant tools (e.g., Tanium Deploy, SCCM).
3+ years of experience in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible, YAML, Batch, command line).
3+ years of experience within the last 5 years administering relevant infrastructure products (e.g., Tanium, SCCM).
2+ years of experience within the last 5 years managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting server operating systems (e.g., SCOM).
A valid certification for infrastructure management products (e.g., Tanium Certified Operator, Tanium Certified Administrator). Applications without proof of the required certification(s) will not be accepted.
Possession of a Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college.
