About The Position

As the Senior Sensitive Activities Budget Analyst, you will serve as the primary functional point of contact and financial liaison for a program/portfolio. You will provide budget execution and advisory support, monitor and resolve day-to-day budget/financial issues with widely varying needs, goals, and objectives. You will manage differing security levels and requirements of supported programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant security classification guides. Collaborate with budget analysts and program stakeholders (internal and external) to create, coordinate, and consolidate program review products and budgetary data for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution cycles. Provide advice, assistance, and guidance on financial accounting and related information while conducting analyses, reviews, and special studies of budget and/or related information. Use budgetary and other proprietary automated systems and computer-generated products in accomplishing execution support; monitor and report obligations incurred and resulting expenditures. Provide detailed updates on the status of documents and any execution issues to government stakeholders as needed. Extract budget and program data from accounting records, forms, and reports; track, analyze, and reconcile financial and budget execution information; compile and summarize information for use by others. Process incoming reimbursable documents and review requests for distribution of funds to field organizations. Collect and analyze estimates of annual funding needs.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" Federal or DoD security clearance with SAP eligibility.
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; FOUR (4) additional years of experience in financial management, accounting, budget, and/or audit may be used in lieu of a degree.
  • FOUR (4) or more years' experience with Department of War and/or Intelligence Budgets.

  • Willingness to travel within the organizational geographical area of responsibility.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including experience using advanced features of MS Word and MS Excel.
