About The Position

The Autonomous Vehicles Platform team is seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Software Engineer to develop performant, scalable solutions for data collection and autonomous vehicle fleets. The team develops platform and middleware features for self-driving cars, including software security features that interact with sensors such as cameras, LIDAR, RADAR, GPS, IMU, and vehicle CAN. The role focuses on implementing security concepts and features for the autonomous vehicle platform, working across platform and embedded software through cloud infrastructure while considering safety and performance. The engineer will integrate security into the autonomous driving software stack; develop and improve security work products; contribute security-related code across sensor abstraction, data processing, and middleware; and guide security governance and mechanism implementation across teams. The role collaborates with hardware, platform software, product, safety, performance, algorithms, and cloud teams.
