About The Position

The Senior Security Management will provide support and expertise to Information, Industrial, Personnel, and Operations Security including Program Protection. This role involves developing and managing various security systems and processes to ensure compliance with government and Air Force instructions.

Requirements

  • Three (3) to ten (10) years’ applicable experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
  • US Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree desired.
  • Security Fundamental Professional Certification and Security Asset Protection Professional Certification.
  • Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a tracking system for processing classified and unclassified contracts.
  • Process Visitor Group Security Agreements (VGSAs) for contracts with on-base efforts.
  • Monitor contractor clearances to ensure proper access per the DD 254, manage visit requests, and ensure companies update contractor clearances.
  • Monitor subcontract agreements, correspond with FSOs to acquire subcontract DD 254s, and ensure VGSA agreements are accomplished.
  • Manage government and contractor consultants, acquiring agreements and ensuring classified contract/security agreement elements are agreed to.
  • Manage final DD 250Z’s and ensure a final DD 254 is accomplished and classified information is returned.
  • Manage contractor training program and provide results to FSOs annually.
  • Manage co-utilization agreements between companies for sharing classified information.
  • Manage the Industrial Security Facilities Database and the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment for all contracts.
  • Monitor and inspect classified secure spaces for compliance with DoD and Air Force instructions.
  • Monitor security incidents and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Review Security Classified Guidance and make recommendations to program managers.
  • Assist with management of Office Security/Division Security Managers (OSM/DSM), provide security updates, initial and refresher training, and schedule/assist with semi-annual OSM/DSM meetings.
  • Manage the security container program and certifications of secured spaces.
  • Manage the security self-inspection program IAW applicable DoD and Air Force instructions.
  • Assist with the Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) or successor program.
  • Assist with management of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and/or Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Assist with monthly management of requests for background investigations of personnel.
  • Ensure monthly rosters are pulled from JPAS/DISS.
  • Maintain spreadsheets for personnel requiring background investigations.
  • Assist with management of Security Information Files.
  • In/Out-Process personnel and maintain applicable databases.
  • Manage the Information Protection organization mailbox.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
