INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST II
About The Position
Under the general direction of the Information Technology (IT) Manager I, the IT Specialist II in the Department of General Services, Enterprise Technology Solutions within the Information Security Engineering domain, the Senior Security Engineer is responsible for performing a wide range of advanced security tasks to ensure the protection and integrity of DGS's information systems. This role requires expertise in SIEM engineering, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and leading incident response staff in complex situations. The IT Spec II, Senior Security Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization's security posture and proactively mitigating cyber threats.
Requirements
- Applicants must successfully complete an online examination and be authorized to work in the US without the need for a visa sponsorship or a training plan, now or in the future.
- Employment History on the STD 678 (State Application) must be complete and include dates, accurate hours per week, total time worked, duties and responsibilities, and contact names and phone numbers of supervisors.
