About The Position

We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Ph.D.-level scientist to join our collaborative Immuno-Oncology team. This individual will help drive the discovery and advancement of next-generation cancer therapeutics, including multi-specific biologics, conditionally active agents, and emerging programmable therapeutic modalities. This position sits at the intersection of protein engineering, cancer biology, delivery technologies, and synthetic therapeutic design. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of tumor-selective therapies that leverage conditional activation, targeted delivery, and novel biological logic to achieve enhanced efficacy and therapeutic index. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of cancer immunotherapy by advancing innovative therapeutic concepts from early discovery through preclinical development and translational evaluation.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Oncology, Cancer Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
  • 0–6 years of relevant postdoctoral and/or industry experience
  • Strong scientific foundation in oncology, immunology, therapeutic development, or related areas
  • Experience designing and interpreting complex biological experiments
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to clearly present scientific findings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience studying tumor immunology and the tumor microenvironment
  • Experience with nucleotide-based therapeutics, including siRNA, ASOs, mRNA, gene editing technologies, or related modalities
  • Familiarity with targeted delivery approaches and biological barriers to therapeutic delivery
  • Experience integrating biologics with delivery technologies, including conjugates, targeted nanoparticles, or hybrid therapeutic systems
  • Working knowledge of molecular and cellular biology techniques such as CRISPR, RNA interference, qPCR, Western blotting, and cell engineering
  • Experience with syngeneic, orthotopic, genetically engineered, or patient-derived tumor models
  • Familiarity with spatial biology, single-cell omics, transcriptomics, or computational analysis of high-dimensional datasets

Responsibilities

  • Designing and evaluating next-generation multi-specific biologics, T cell engagers, novel payloads, or conditionally active therapeutic agents
  • Contributing to the development of innovative delivery platforms, including nanoparticle- and nanomedicine-based systems for targeted delivery of RNA, small molecules, proteins, or other therapeutic payloads
  • Developing strategies to enable tumor-selective activity through conditional activation, microenvironment-dependent targeting, or logic-gated therapeutic approaches (e.g., AND/OR/NOT circuits)
  • Designing and executing in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate pharmacology, mechanism of action, delivery efficiency, and anti-tumor activity
  • Interpreting complex datasets, integrating findings with current scientific literature, and proposing data-driven next steps
  • Driving scientific innovation through close collaboration with teams spanning protein engineering, oncology research, translational sciences, computational biology, and formulation development
